"Imogen" came to us on January 18, 2024 from the Jacksontown area she had been observed as a stray for about four years, but now was at the point that she needed serious help. Imogen was born about January 18, 2017, but was now in poor health. She was emaciated, matted, thirsty, cold, had ear mites, an injury on her left ear, dental disease, diarrhea, was lethargic and may be deaf.

Imogen is a beautiful little girl who displays nothing but gratitude. She is eating a diet of Royal Canin Adult food to give her lots of nutrition and is also eating Royal Canin Fibre canned food to help with her digestive issues and diarrhea. She is very grateful and is eating each time she is offered food, so we're hoping she'll be fine in no time, thanks to a healthy diet and the veterinary care she has been afforded at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic. Imogen has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) - please read about it here.

On April 28, 2024, Imogen met her new family who drove from New Maryland, NB, to pick her up. She now lives with DunRoamin's Derp and his siblings, where they are all spoiled beyond belief. Imogen thanks everyone who made her new life possible - it couldn't be better! Congratulations to both you and your new family, Imogen. Please send photos soon!!

"Eclipse" came to us on March 21, 2024 from Bannon, NB, where she was a stray who had come to a home asking for help. The homeowners were more than happy to provide her with a spay and initial vaccines, as well as food and a safe place to live. However, due to health conditions of her rescuers, Eclipse was unable to remain in the home. Numerous attempts at finding her a new home were unsuccessful, and they had reached the end of their resources, so Eclipse was accepted by DunRoamin'.

Eclipse was born about May 11, 2023, so was not yet a year old. She is a beautiful grey tabby who is quickly becoming comfortable in her new environment. She is vocal about wanting food or attention, and lets us know when we should come running to wait on her! Other than having a bit of tartar on her teeth, she was in very good physical condition, thanks to the people who had provided food and shelter for such a beautiful little girl when she had nothing.

Eclipse has been treated for all parasites and tested for FIV and FeLV. She is hoping to have the opportunity to meet a new family who will adopt her into their loving family for life. She is looking forward to a family of her very own.

On April 13, 2024, Eclipse met a wonderful couple who had recently said goodbye to their beloved cat, Willow, who was DunRoamin's Dale. Wishing to honour Willow, they chose to adopt another DunRoamin' cat to add to their family. Congratulations, Eclipse - you've got a wonderful home and family. We are grateful to them for providing a wonderful life to another DunRoamin' stray.

"Deacon" and his brother Diego came to DunRoamin' on October 2, 2023 when they were born to Daniella, a young stray from the Fielding area who had no one to care for her. Our thanks go to the young lady who drove all the way to Fielding to rescue her and ensure she had a safe place to give birth and someone to care for her.

"Diego" and his brother Deacon came to DunRoamin' on October 2, 2023 when they were born to Daniella, a young stray from the Fielding area who had no one to care for her. "Marner" came to DunRoamin' on September 12, 2023 from the Woodstock area where he had been surrendered due to issues surrounding not using the litterbox. We were his only option for life.

Marner (named after Toronto Maple Leafs' right winger Mitch Marner) was immediately placed back on a prescription diet of Royal Canin Urinary S/O food and he is doing extremely well. He has not yet missed the litter box even one time - this food is the real deal! Marner was born about December 16, 2015, so is about eight years old and is an extremely social little boy who loves to head butt and spend time in close proximity to his humans (ie: on their lap, at their feet - anywhere he can be next to them to sneak some pats and hugs!)

Marner may require this Urinary S/O diet for life, but it is not a huge deal. We have had hundreds of cats on this diet and have not had a single recurrence of urinary issues as long as they eat this food only. Marner is looking forward to a family who will commit to loving and caring for him as he deserves the rest of his life, and he will promise the same in return. This beautiful orange tabby is in it for life, and he won't scrimp on any love or thank you's once he gets to his loving forever home - he can't wait for that. Please come meet him!

On March 25, 2024, Marner met a lady and they each enjoyed the other's company so much that he chose to go home with her! Marner now lives in Rusagonis with his new family. Congratulations, Marner! Write soon!

"Langford" came to DunRoamin' on March 8, 2019, from Woodstock where he had been a stray who had been hanging around for about six months and was being fed and sheltered during the recent cold winter months. On March 7, 2019, he had appeared with a large bleeding wound on the left side of his neck. Langford was born about March 8, 2017, so had apparently been surviving on his own for a while.

Langford was delivered immediately to his newest vet friend for the medical intervention he required. It was learned that Langford had sustained a previous wound on his neck which had abscessed and burst. Langford was prescribed antibiotics and other required medical care, which he quickly received. Langford is covered with numerous old fight wounds, indicating that he's had a rough life to date, but all that changed today. He is very loving and affectionate and is grateful for the warm bed and plentiful food. He's a social eater who prefers to have company when he eats, so when someone is with him, he eats up a storm of that ever-present banquet! He quickly put on some weight and is now doing fine. Langford is a very attentive and smart little boy. He loves to run the length of the entire house and comes running when you call his name. He has a great sense of humour and will steal all the food he can get - he's got a very solid little body! If you're looking for a unique and interesting cat, he's definitely your boy!!

On March 8, 2024, Langford was officially adopted by his foster parent. He has been fostered since March 8th, 2019, so he has been a family member for five years - time to make it official! He is a sweet boy with so much energy, love and personality - he is living proof that an FIV+ cat is no different than any other. Routine monitoring of his health (as should be done with any pet) is the only requirement for him, and he is healthy as a . . . cat! At eight years of age, he is a true gift of love and laughter, and his antics make his family smile each and every day! His human is very lucky to have him.

"Theodore" came to us on April 12, 2021 from a place where he was being fed but no one was able to provide the care that he required. Theodore had fractured and missing teeth and a badly-infected soft tissue abrasion on his left front leg. Theodore was born about April 12, 2018.

Theodore is a beautiful boy. He was initially scared, but soon learned that he was among friends. He loves his food and loves to have his head scratched. He has had a very hard life to date, but he is now doing very well and is anxious to finally have a family who will love and care for him the way he deserves. It takes him a second to get used to new people, but that's understandable. He can't wait for his very own family - he has a lot to give them!!

On February 23, 2024, Theodore was adopted by a lady from Fredericton. She was looking for company from a sweet, friendly, affectionate, loving little boy, and that is exactly what she got! Congratulations, Theodore! We will be looking forward to lots of photos and stories from you about how much you are loving your new home and family!

"Boca" came to DunRoamin' on November 9, 2023 from Newburg where she had been found. She had a broken jaw and had had babies, but they did not survive. Boca was born about April 25, 2022, so was only about a year and a half old - way too young to have kittens, and no one should have to undergo the pain of a broken jaw without anyone to help provide nutrition.

Boca (which means "mouth" in Spanish), is a very sweet little girl. She underwent surgery to repair her jaw and had to have a feeding tube inserted so that she could take in sustenance wile her jaw was wired shut. Her feeding tube has now been removed and she is eating pureed/blended canned food while her jaw heals. Her DunRoamin' servants are providing the very best of love, care and nutrition while she heals, and she displays her gratitude daily with purrs and slow blinks. She is a very lucky little girl to have the love of all the people who support DunRoamin' - we are ALL very grateful. Stay tuned - we'll keep you up to date on this beautiful little girl.

On March 9, 2024, Boca was happy to leave for her new home in Taymouth. Congratulations, Boca! We are so happy for you to have a family who will spoil you forever! Don't forget to send lots of pictures of you and your family in your new home!

"Gordon" came to DunRoamin' on November 14, 2023 from the Florenceville area where he was residing in a colony from which we have accepted numerous sick and injured cats. Many of them are feral, but Gordon appears to want to be a cat who lives indoors where he can be safe and loved. Gordon was born about November 16, 2021, and is a gorgeous long-haired tabby. He will be neutered, tested for FIV, tested for FeLV, neutered and treated for all parasites. His new friends are working hard to teach him that he is now safe, warm, loved and can look forward to a loving home and family. Stay tuned.

On March 9, 2024, Gordon was adopted by a nice young lady from Fredericton. He will now enjoy the love, comfort and joy of having his very own family. Congratulations, Gordon!! Send lots of photos - we will all miss you!!

"Finis" came to us on November 14, 2023 from a local colony which we have been trying to spay/neuter for quite some time as there are dozens of cats and kittens in the area who breed with no control. Many become sick and/or injured, and most are feral.

Finis was born about July 16, 2023, so is still young enough that he may become tame and be able to live in a home with people and other animals. He is a bit timid, but with the hard work of his caring DunRoamin' servants, we hope that he will be fine. He had parasites and needed some good, nutritious food as well as shelter and a chance to live safely.

Finis has beautiful long hair and is starting to appreciate his warm bed and always-refilled bowl of food. We hope that he will become comfortable enough to live with humans, and he is doing well so far. He will be fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV, neutered and treated for all parasites. By the time this protocol is complete, we're sure he'll be a cuddle cat. Stay tuned!

On March 9, 2024, Finis was elated to go to his forever home in Saint John where he will be spoiled beyond his wildest dreams. Congratulations, Finis - send lots of photos!!

"Babbs"  came to us on July 15, 2019 from the Florenceville area. She had been peeing inappropriately and was no longer wanted, so her future became precarious. She is a beautiful little girl who was born about September 9, 2014. She required some dental work to have all her teeth removed, but was fine otherwise.

Babbs has a fantastic purrsonality. She loves everyone - especially kids! She is very affectionate and loving and wants only to be with humans who will love her back. She requires daily medication which she accepts easily and willingly. She is a truly beautiful being and our wish was that she gets the home she deserves very soon. Her favourite time, other than cuddling with humans, is pushing pens off a desk and carrying them around! If you need a pen, just find Babbs - she'll have at least one!

Babbs was eventually diagnosed with kidney failure, so the plan was for her to spend her remaining time with us being spoiled rotten! She is a sweet little girl who deserves all the love and attention she can get! However, she soon found someone who loved her even more than we did! On June 25, 2021, she was invited to become a foster cat with Mayella, Fezzik, Penne and Lemur, all former DunRoamin' cats. What a wonderful family! Babbs considered herself to be in VERY good company and thoroughly enjoyed her time in Lakeville.

On March 4, 2024, Babbs was officially inducted as a permanent member of her family. She is extremely happy and fortunate to have such a great family. Congratulations, Babbs! You certainly hit the jackpot, as a foster kitty and now as a permanent member. Send lots of photos!!

"Chance" came to DunRoamin' on December 7, 2023 from Riverbank where he had been hanging around for some time. Although numerous people had seen him, he was not very trusting of humans. He was eventually live trapped and brought for help.

Chance was born about December 14, 2022 and was relatively healthy, although he was cold, skinny, hungry and very vocal toward his rescuers. He was neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. Now he'd like to have a home and family of his very own, if possible.

As of December 21, he had learned to be friendly and loving once he was certain he was safe, warm and would always have a full belly and loving humans to care for him. He's promised to return the kindness in spades!

On February 13, 2024, Chance was very happy to be adopted by a young lady from Fredericton where he will be spoiled just as a cat should be! He is cuddly, loving and affectionate, and he plans on giving his new family all the love he can. Congratulations, Chance! Send lots of pictures!!

"Olen" came to us on November 2, 2022 from New Denmark where a cat had had a litter of kittens, but had no one who would care for them. Little Olen was the smallest, and he was not doing well. He had an eye infection, and diarrhea had made him dehydrated and had given him a red, raw and painful bum. He was just a baby, having been born about August 24, 2022, and there was no help for him in his current location.

Olen was happy to receive medical care from his friends at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where he soon became healthy, happy and a going concern! On December 17, 2022, he was excited to go to a foster home with his friend Boo where he was spoiled with love and attention from his foster family which included two young children. Olen then came back with us and lived happily with his friends. He is an energetic, loving little boy who requires some medication and a prescription Selected Protein diet due to a bit of IBD (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), but is otherwise healthy, happy, neutered, fully vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. He dreamed of the perfect home . . .

. . . and his dreams came true. On February 10, 2024, Olen (now renamed Odin) met a wonderful couple who were looking for the perfect match for their young cat. They had two older senior cats who did not appreciate the energy and antics of their young brother, Loki. Once Odin met Loki, both their worlds changed. They are very close in age and personality, and both run and tear, wrestle and roll like the best friends they have already become. They have a multitude of cat trees, toys, windows, beds and many other places to explore or to just take a nap! They also have two people who love them more than they could have ever dreamed of being loved. Congratulations, Olen - it was well worth the wait! Thanks to your family - we look forward to many more photos and updates!

"Puffin" came to DunRoamin' on December 28, 2023 from the Perth-Andover area where she had been found beside a mailbox very early in the morning. Her rescuer was unable to keep her, so she was surrendered to us to ensure she received the medical care she required.

Puffin was born about October 14, 2023. She had fleas and diarrhea, and was very hungry. She was treated for her medical needs and is starting to do better on a healthy diet of Royal Canin kitten food. She was originally timid, but now that she knows she is safe, warm and getting the very best of care, she's warming up to her foster family very quickly. She will be spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. She's looking forward to a happy and healthy future in a warm and loving home!

On January 28, 2024, Puffin was elated to learn that she had been chosen to join a very nice family in Woodstock where she will be a new sister for another DunRoamin' adoptee, Petley. Congratulations to everyone!

"Archer" came to DunRoamin' on October 18, 2023 from the Florenceville area from a colony of cats that we have been trying to spay/neuter for quite some time. However, due to the large numbers, it is a difficult task.

Archer was born about August 28, 2023, so was only a couple of months old. He really shouldn't be away from his mom just yet, but fortunately, we are able to help him. He had a bad case of upper respiratory infection (URI), was dehydrated and his eyes were infected. He didn't feel very well at all. Thanks to his new vet friend, he is on medication for his URI and we are pleased to be able to provide him with a warm, safe place to recover, as well as a healthy, nutritious diet to help him do just that.

Archer will be neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. Then he hopes to be adopted into a loving home where he will be spoiled forever.

On January 27, 2024, Archer was officially adopted into his new family in Fredericton where he will be spoiled beyond his wildest dreams. We are SO happy for you, Archer! Please send lots of photos so we can watch you grow up. And thank your family for us - you have it made now! Congratulations!

"Daniella" came to us on September 28, 2023 from Fielding where she was a stray who was observed to be pregnant. All by herself, she had no one to help her when her babies came. Thanks to the concern of a young lady who attended her location and brought her to safety, Daniella gave birth to two little boys, Deacon and Diego, in her home on October 2, 2023. Unfortunately, a canine resident of the home did not do well with new feline guests, so Daniella, Deacon and Diego are now here with us at DunRoamin' where it is a joy to watch them grow!

Daniella was born about September 29, 2020. She had fleas and gave birth four days after her rescue, but she is doing fine now. She is a very content and caring mother who loves her two boys. Daniella is quiet, loving, attentive and affectionate and once she has finished nursing her babies, she will be spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. Then, she'll be looking forward to a safe, warm and loving home of her very own.

On January 27, 2024, Daniella was officially adopted by a family in Oromocto who fell in love with her cuteness, friendliness and cuddliness. And to make it even more wonderful, her friend Dee was also adopted, so they'll each have feline companionship as well as the love and care of their new family. What a great way to start a new year! "Dee" and her sons Gruber and Zevon (see below) came to DunRoamin' on October 30, 2023 from the Centreville area. They had been reported to have been found near the train bridge on their own, but they have obviously been in a home and are socialized. Dee had a broken right canine and was very skinny, and she also had lots of parasites which have been treated. She was born about October 30, 2021, so was about two years old, and was trying to care for her boys, including feeding them. She is a very sweet little girl who loves her boys and has taken very good care of them.

On January 27, 2024, Dee was excited to learn that she had been chosen as the newest member of a family in Oromocto. She fits in perfectly, and we're very happy that she has such a wonderful family who will spoil her for the rest of her life! And to make it even better, her friend Daniella was also adopted along with her! Congratulations to you and your new family!

"King" came to us on October 28, 2023 from the Beechwood area. They are siblings to Carrie (see above) who had been found all alone without a mother. They were very thin, and had fleas and ear mites - both of which can be dangerous for tiny little kittens who are too young to eat on their own and have no mother to provide sustenance, warmth or the many other things a mother provides.

King is a grey and white little boy who is very much loved by his sisters who spend most of their time on either side of him so that he is always warm. He is the smallest of the three and required more intensive medical care and feedings, as he found it difficult to put on weight, despite being fed nutritious Royal Canin kitten milk replacer and Royal Canin Recovery canned food by syringe every three hours around the clock. Thanks to his foster family, he is doing much better. These little ones were born about September 25, 2023. It is our hope that they may be adopted together, or that they may go to a home that already has a cat or kitten of similar age. They are teaching each other kitten manners, and are very close, having had no mom after the first month of their lives.

On January 27, 2024, King was adopted by a young lady from Fredericton where he will be a new friend for her cat who also has some Siamese characteristics and loves to run and play. They will now have each other to help burn off that energy and be each other's best friend. Congratulations!!

"Wendy" and "King" came to us on October 28, 2023 from the Beechwood area. They are siblings to Carrie (see above) who had been found all alone without a mother. "Carrie" came to us on October 25, 2023 from Upper Kent where it was reported she had been found around a home that could not care for her. There had apparently been two more kittens, but no more have been located to date.

Carrie was estimated by her new vet friend to have been born about September 25, 2023. She is pale, thin, dehydrated and anemic. She is being provided with a healthy and nutritious diet of Royal Canin Recovery food to help her along. Her personality is very sweet and she's grateful for the food, warm bed and all the love she is being displayed by her new care-giving friends. Stay tuned - we'll keep you up to date!

On January 27, 2024, Carrie and Wendy were adopted by a very nice young lady from Fredericton. They love their new home and family, and we're looking forward to many, many photos as they grow. Thank you for keeping them together. Congratulations, everyone!

"Sacha" came to DunRoamin' on August 24, 2022 from the Somerville area. She was born about August 24, 2009. She came to us with entropion (a condition where her eyelashes turn inward instead of outward - this can be very painful and required surgery to correct), she was very badly matted, had fleas, ear mites and required surgery to remove her infected teeth. She was also missing her right front leg and her left front leg has arthritis due to the extra strain it has had to accept. With all these things working against her, she was not in good shape. She needed help.

Sacha was soon feeling much better once she was prescribed pain medication, provided a healthy diet, was getting a bit of exercise, had her eyelids fixed and her teeth removed. She has also been treated for all parasites and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Her past few years were not the greatest, but now she runs to meet us, loves to be patted and is very vocal when she wants attention. She is a very sweet cat whose personality is shining through now that she is pain free. She is a beautiful little girl. Come meet her!

On January 25, 2024, Sacha got the best present she had ever received in her entire life when her foster parents told her that they wanted her to be a permanent part of their family. It was a touching reunion for her and her family (who had been out of the area for several weeks) and there could not possibly have been three happier individuals than Sacha and her new parents. Congratulations to everyone - it was well worth the wait, Sacha!

"Monroe" came to DunRoamin' on December 18, 2023 from Oakland. He had been blocked and required medical care and prescription food which his owners were unable to provide, so he came to us for help. Monroe is a beautiful long-haired boy who was born about December 12, 2021. He is very friendly and loving. As he had a minor number of crystals, he should eat a diet of Royal Canin Urinary S/O food only to ensure he does not block again. We have had dozens and dozens of cats on this diet and have never had a recurrence, so he is in very good company!

Monroe is a big boy who weighs in at about 14.5 pounds. He loves people and is a very social being. He's anxious to have a new home and looks forward to a family that will love him forever!

On January 19, 2023, Monroe was elated to learn that he had been chosen to join the family of his favourite new person. He was in the carrier as soon as it was opened - he knew it was his transportation to his new life! Congratulations, Monroe - don't forget to send lots of pictures so we can see your new home and how much you are loved!!

"Blake" came to DunRoamin' on December 1, 2023 from the Florenceville area where he was found all alone. He had a very bad upper respiratory infection, was skinny, hungry and had fecal balls on his rear end which were dry, hard and partially obstructed his ability to poop. His long fur had collected the poop, and he could not free himself from it. He was very uncomfortable, upset, hungry and scared.

Thanks to his new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic, the fecal balls were removed and his rear was shaved which then allowed him to poop easily on his own. He is now getting a nutritious diet, is warm, safe and has a friend, Borders (see above) to snuggle, play and sleep with. They are most probably siblings and are teaching each other kitty manners, as they have no mom to do so. They would like to be adopted together if at all possible. Blake was born about October 1, 2023.

On January 19, 2023, Blake was excited to go to his new home where he will have the best of love and care from his new family. Congratulations, Blake, way to go!!

"Schaffer" came to DunRoamin' on December 4, 2023 from the Florenceville area. He had a bad case of upper respiratory infection (sneezing, coughing, runny nose, watery eyes, etc) and had no way to help himself. Fortunately, someone found him and brought him for help. Schaeffer was born about October 13, 2023, so was less than eight weeks old, and too young to be away from his mom who would normally feed and care for him, as well as keep him warm and safe. It's already too snowy, cold and there is very little food available for these little ones who are trying to survive on their own.

Schaeffer is doing better already, thanks to the medical care he receives from his new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic. He looks forward to becoming a member of a family that will love and care for him forever. He hopes he might have a sibling or friend close to his age - he came from a location near a colony of cats, so probably has had siblings/friends around him at all times. He'd love to have someone to cuddle with and teach him kitty things. He has soft, long, pewter grey fur and he'll require lots of brushing which he will love!

On January 14, 2024, Schaeffer was adopted by a lady from Fredericton where he will be spoiled for the entirety of his life - as it should be! Congratulations, Schaeffer! Don't forget to send us lots of photos of you as grow into an even more handsome boy!!

"Mavis" came to DunRoamin' on August 16, 2023. She had been abandoned inside the foyer of a building where she waited for someone to find her and bring her for help. Mavis was not in good shape. She had fleas, was dehydrated, had upper respiratory infection and found it difficult to breathe. She was very tiny and needed veterinary medical support, so she was fostered and cared for by a veterinarian 24 hours a day for more than a week to ensure she would survive.

Mavis is all cuteness and all attitude. Her attitude is probably a main reason that she survived! She is now eating wet food and KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer) on her own and it looks like she might be fine - we're hoping so. Mavis is polydactyl (extra toes) and is extremely cute - just ask her!!

Mavis is extremely lively and energetic and definitely needs someone her own age and energy level to interact with to burn off that energy, so she must be adopted with another kitten or to a home that already has an energetic kitten close to her own age.

On January 14, 2024, Mavis was adopted by a young couple from Nackawic. She will now be spoiled beyond her wildest dreams! Congratulations, Mavis - send lots of photos!!

"Baun" came to us on August 22, 2023, from Woodstock where he had been struck by a car. Just a baby, he suffered a broken left hind leg and tail. On August 26, 2023, his hind leg and tail were amputated as neither could be repaired. We are hoping he'll be fine. Stay tuned - we'll keep you up to date.

Baun was named after Bobby Baun, a Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman, who in 1964 scored the game-winning goal in the playoffs against the Detroit Red Wings to even the best-of-seven series at 3-3. He did this on a broken leg! The Leafs then won the final game to bring home their third Stanley Cup. So Baun is named in Bobby Baun's honour. He had a broken leg, too, and he will also persevere to become a winner!!

On January 14, 2023, Baun was adopted by a young gentleman from Fredericton who has previously adopted a DunRoamin' cat. Baun will receive the very best of everything for the remainder of his life - especially love! He looks forward to being spoiled even more than when he was with his Purrfect Cup friends. Congratulations, Baun! We can't wait to see photos of you and your family as you grow up!!

"Arnold" came to DunRoamin' on June 28, 2023. Part of a colony in the Florenceville area, he, three adult female mothers and eleven more kittens (three male, nine female) were not doing well. Although they had shelter, they did not have enough food, were all underweight and had fleas, ear mites, worms and a very bad upper respiratory infection. They are all now receiving a nutritious diet as well as medications four times daily. Donations to help with food and meds for these fifteen cats and kittens are greatly appreciated.

Arnold was born about May 11, 2023. He is a tabby kitten who is being treated for upper respiratory infection with medications four times daily and provided with lots of food which he and his family are devouring with gusto every day.

Arnold has been treated for all parasites. Once he is healthy, big and strong enough, he will be neutered, fully vaccinated and tested for FIV and FeLV. Then, he hopes to go to a home where he will be safe and loved forever. He'd love to be adopted with a sibling or at least go to a home that has other cats - he has never been alone and he loves his huge family - there's always someone to sleep, play or cuddle with!

On January 12, 2024, Arnold was very happy to finally leave for his new home in Fredericton where the young couple who has adopted him will spoil him beyond his wildest dreams for the rest of his life! "Willard" came to us on September 7, 2023 from Hartland where he had been a stray who had been hanging around for two years. A man had been trying to catch him and he had finally allowed himself to be caught in a live trap - probably due to the severity of his injuries.

Willard was born about September 8, 20218, so is only about five years old. His injuries included wounds on all four paws and abscesses on both ears, one of which is suspected to be cancerous. Willard tested positive for FIV and requires dental intervention. He would have been surviving with much pain and no care for quite some time. He is fortunate to have someone who persevered until they could get him the help he required.

Willard was suspected to be feral, but he may just be scared. He is already letting two of his new best friends/caregivers pat him a bit and he is eating, peeing and pooping on his own. He has had surgery on his right ear and will receive dental intervention when he is strong and healthy enough, hopefully in the very near future. We are working on giving him a warm, safe, loving environment so that he can heal much stronger and faster without stress. Willard is a very good boy and we hope to report many more positive things soon.

On January 12, 2024, Willard was officially adopted by a very good friend of DunRoamin' who has helped him overcome his fear and timidity. Willard will now live in Moncton. Congratulations, Willard, you've finally achieved your dream - a safe, warm and caring family to love you forever! You've come a very long way. We will miss you, but know you'll stay in touch with lots of photos and updates!

"Sandra" came to us on November 9, 2023 from the Florenceville area. A stray who was trying to gain access to a building for shelter once the colder weather started up, she had no place to go. A check by her vet found that she had an injured left front shoulder, she was badly matted and had fleas and ear mites.

Despite her woes, Sandra is a beautiful little girl. She has huge big eyes that glow with gratitude. Her personality is loving, affectionate and grateful. She is now warm, safe and has a nutritious diet to help her get to her perfect weight. Please stay tuned - we'll report more as we get to know her. She was born about November 2, 2020, so is only about three years old. Her personality is well established - and she's purrfectly gorgeous! She will be spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. Then, once her shoulder is 100%, she'll be ready for a home - she can't wait!!

On January 12, 2024, Sandra met a very nice lady from Fredericton and they hit it off. Sandra will now be her new best friend and they will live happily ever after together! Congratulations to both of you!!

"Autumn" came to us on September 21, 2023 from Woodstock where it was alleged that she was feral and had to be kept separated. Her vet diagnosed her with upper respiratory infection, congestion and mild debris in her ears. All these were quickly treated.

Autumn is a very sweet and affectionate little orange female kitten. Although female orange tabbies are not rare, they are less common than male orange tabbies, and she thinks (actually - she KNOWS!!) she is very special! She was grateful for her new room which included a soft, warm bed, a loft in which she could oversee and direct the work of her caregivers and her very own food and water stations. Now that she has her own servants and will receive the very best of care, her personality is coming out - she is a SWEETHEART! Autumn was born about July 27, 2023.

As we spent more time with Autumn, it became obvious that she had additional issues. She was soon diagnosed with a form of rickets which means she has a calcium deficiency and her bones have not grown as they should. Autumn was fostered by her new best friend who had fallen in love with her. She is receiving the best of care and medical attention and as of January 9, 2024, is doing so very much better.

On January 9, 2024, Autumn was officially adopted by her caregiver who will ensure she gets the very best of everything. Autumn has improved significantly and is now well on her way to being much more healthy - and definitely happy - since she learned she will now be a permanent family member. Congratulations, Autumn! "Lanny" came to DunRoamin' on May 16, 2023, from the Bull's Creek area. A stray who had been hanging around a home for about two days, no one was able to take him in or care for him. He was friendly and had no issues with the dog of the lady who rescued him, but he was very skinny and unable to walk. He obviously needed medical attention.

Named after Toronto Maple Leafs star Lanny McDonald, Lanny was examined by his new vet friend. He was emaciated and had parasites and was immediately provided with all medical care he required and was placed under the medical care of the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic until he was healthy enough to come back to DunRoamin'.

Lanny was born about May 16, 2013, so is about ten years old. We are sad that he had to endure such a terrible time for at least the recent past, but that all ended today. Thanks to the generosity and concern of DunRoamin' supporters, he will receive the best of everything we can give him - food, love, medical care and lots of attention. He is already showing his gratitude with purrs and head butts. Lanny was already neutered when he arrived, and has since received full vaccines and parasite control. He tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Lanny is a beautiful, loving little boy and once he is healthy and happy again, we hope to find him a caring family who will love him for the rest of his life. He definitely deserves that, especially after all he's been through. He requires prescription food and some ongoing medication which he accepts happily!

On January 8, 2024, Lanny was ecstatic to be selected as the newest member of a young family in Fredericton. He chose them all by himself, and they couldn't have done better! This little boy now has the love and support of a wonderful family where he will live and be loved forever. Congratulations, Lanny! We are SO happy for you!
